These terms cover buying and using nachtli, an app by Cédric Eberhardt. Questions: hello at nachtli.com.

What you buy

A license to use nachtli. The price is shown on the price section, in euros, with VAT included. You pay once. The license covers every future version: updates are free, with no subscription.

The free first hour

nachtli works without a key for its first hour on your Mac. After that, it needs a license key to keep checking your services.

Using your license

• You can use it for personal or business work, on your own Macs. Your customer portal shows which Macs are activated.
• Please don't share your key or resell it. If you replace a Mac, remove the license in Settings first, or write to me.
• You are responsible for the tokens you give nachtli. Read-only scopes are enough, and they are what each screen asks for.

Payment

Your purchase is sold and charged by Polar, the merchant of record. It collects the payment and VAT, and sends you a receipt and your license key by email. Polar's own terms apply to the payment.

Refunds

Ask for your money back within 30 days of buying and you get all of it, no questions asked. Write to hello at nachtli.com from the email you used to buy. After a refund the license key stops working. This is longer than the 14-day withdrawal period that EU law gives you, and it doesn't replace it.

What nachtli promises, and what it doesn't

nachtli reads the state of your services from the providers' own interfaces and tells you what it finds. It can be late or wrong if a provider is slow, changes its interface, or your Mac is asleep or offline. Don't make it the only alarm on something critical.

The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for losses that come from a missed or late alert, and my total liability is limited to the price you paid. None of this limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, such as the legal guarantee of conformity.

Changes

The app evolves: features can change or go away. If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes, and what you already bought is not made worse.

Law

French law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
